Here are just a few of our favorites.

Every year, the citizens of Salt Lake City and its surrounding communities look forward to the annual tradition of Temple Square Christmas lights and concerts. The special event takes place after Thanksgiving, when over one million multi-colored lights come aglow on Temple Square. It’s a sight that is truly magical, one that simply makes everything feel more alive with joy and warmth. From carolers singing their favorite Christmas tunes to children running around admiring the bright displays, each year brings a unique atmosphere as we all celebrate wintertime together. There’s no better way to dive into the holidays than this beloved Utah tradition!

We love the smell of a fresh, locally grown Christmas tree. Have you ever cut your Own Christmas Tree? Bundle up and head out to one of Bountiful’s many tree farms to pick out the perfect tree for your home. Don’t forget to stop by the hot cocoa station for a cup of warm cocoa before you head home!

Carriage Rides! One of our favorite things to do during the holidays is take a carriage ride around downtown Bountiful. There’s something magical about seeing the festive lights and decorations while snuggled up in a cozy blanket. If you’re lucky, you might even spot Santa Claus! Carriage rides are available on select nights throughout December; check the city website for more information.

Daily Holiday Concerts on Temple Square.
